Adventurers.

Adventurers are very strong, i mean then are strong. But when they are at 3rd job advancement they are awesomely strong. But when they are dexless, awwww i cant withstand there power of being so strong. Dexless means to put (for thiefs) all there stats on luck, but they have to buy DEX scrolls to have some dex. I recommend everyone to be dexless thanks. I will now tell you the moves of the adventurers. (also the guide) Hi guys, thank you for waiting for such a long time. Now is the guide and (moves) (srry guys, only for this page. I will not do the moves, instead i will do better things) πŸ™‚ oops. im sorry only limited a few peoples guides. So if the job guide you want is not on here, then go to another maplestory guide and search. Im afraid i can help no more 😦 ( srry about the repeating Fire/Poison Mage stuff but my comp. is stuffed so i can’t fix it.

Bowman Skills + SkillΒ Build

Requirement: Level 10, with 25 DEX
Head to Bowman Instructional School in Henesys where you’ll find Athena Pierce. Talk to her, and she will advance you as a Bowman if you’ve the requirement stats.

How to read this skill build? 16 – 18 means Level 16, 17 and 18 [Level 16 to 18]. For 20 – 20, it means only Level 20. The guide below is purely a personal recommendation and need not be followed. Each skill listed below has advices/tips shared by senior players to guide you in building your character!

Pearl of Knowledge:
Bowman class uniqueness is able to hit monsters from afar compare to Warrior, Magician, Thief and Pirate. However, it has same range as Assassin (Thief) and Gunslinger (Pirate). Since it specializes in distance arrow attacks, Bowman are able to avoid being damage in close combat (save potions). This class has the highest accuracy because its primary stats is based on DEX (Dexterity). DEX is provides the highest source of accuracy for any class. As a result, bowman could solo boss monsters or high level monsters with high avoidability earlier than other class, but they would also need good/godly equipment to deal high damage.

Below is the hierarchy order of Pirate advancement: [Bowman Main Page]
Pirate -> Gunslinger -> Vaklyrie (Outlaw) -> Captain (Corsair)
Pirate -> Infighter (Brawler) -> Buccaneer (Marauder) -> Viper (Buccaneer)

Focus Build (Recommended!)
This build use Double Shot instead Arrow Blow since it inflict stable damage to monsters. Most players go for Focus instead of Blessing of Amazon to grab the additional avoidability!
Critical Shot is pump in early stage while Double Shot is maxed in the mid levels 20
10 – 10 : Arrow Blow 1
11 – 11 : Blessing of Amazon 3
12 – 13 : Eye of Amazon 3
14 – 14 : Eye of Amazon 2 [MAX], Critical Shot 1
15 – 20 : Critical Shot 3
21 – 21 : Critical Shot 1 [MAX], Double Shot 2
22 – 27 : Double Shot [MAX]
28 – 30 : Focus 3
Summary – Total 61 SP
Arrow Blow [1/20] / Blessing of Amazon [3/20] / Focus [9/20]
Eye of Amazon 8 [MAX] / Critical Shot 20 [MAX] / Double Shot 20 [MAX]
Reason for this build
3 SP (Skill Points) is added into Blessing of Amazon to activate Eye of Amazon. Eye of Amazon is maxed first to gain more range to hit monsters from far. You will find it much more convenient when your arrow could travel further. Critical Shot is followed after Eye of Amazon to deal extra damage without costing any meso to your budget to purchase MP Potions. Double Shot is maxed since it deals more damage than Arrow Blow when Critical Shot stacks, thus the damage would be much stable, not too high and not too low compare to Arrow Blow. Focus is added last to provide you with temporary accuracy and avoidability. You could opt for Blessing of Amazon which only provides accuracy but a permanent stat (passive skill)

Blessing Build (Recommended!)
This build use Double Shot instead Arrow Blow since it is stable damage.
For those who dislike activating skills (Focus), you could go for Blessing of Amazon (passive skill)

28 – 30 : Blessing of Amazon 3
Summary
Arrow Blow [1/20] / Blessing of Amazon [12/20] / Focus [0/20]
Eye of Amazon 8 [MAX] / Critical Shot 20 [MAX] / Double Shot 20 [MAX]
Reason for this build
3 SP (Skill Points) is added into Blessing of Amazon to activate Eye of Amazon. Eye of Amazon is maxed first to gain more range to hit monsters from far. You will find it much more convenient when your arrow could travel further. Double Shot is followed after Eye of Amazon to deal more damage with the cost to their MP. This method allows you to level up faster, but you need to be funded (requires meso to power level). Double Shot is maxed since it deals more damage than Arrow Blow when Critical Shot stacks, thus the damage would be much stable, not too high and not too low compare to Arrow Blow. Critical Shot is maxed once Double Shot is pumped up. This is to give another boost of damage without any cost to your MP (magic points/mana points). Finally, you could opt for Blessing of Amazon for a permanent accuracy stats or Focus for a temporary boost on accuracy + avoidability. Its up to you, its your story!

the-blessing-of-amazonThe Blessing of Amazon (more info)
Increases accuracy. You could pump this if you do not wish to pump Focus. Focus requires the player to activate each time when it runs out of duration. It could not be canceled by monster magic attack! Usually buff (effect) such as Focus, could be canceled by boss monster magic attack. Temporary skill buff can also be canceled by using your mouse cursor and right clicking on the icon located on the top right corner of your screen (if the skill is being activated!). Accuracy does not effect the player’s damage but makes it more effective hit a monster without miss.

focusFocus (more info)
Focussing to temporarily increase accuracy and avoidability. If you wish to gain additional avoidability through this skill, pump some SP (skill points) into this instead of Blessing of Amazon. However, most player recommend Focus since Bowman main stats depends on DEX (dexterity) which boost their accuracy much higher compare to any MapleStory class (except magician). If you do not like activating many skills, you could opt for Blessing of Amazon

Fire/Poison Wizard Skills + SkillΒ Build

Requirement: Level 30
Once you’ve reached Lv 30, go back to Ellinia’s Magic Library, which is located at the highest point of Ellinia. Go inside, talk to Grendel the Really Old. He’ll give you a letter and you’ve to pass it to the job advancement instructor located at the north of Ellinia. After giving the letter, you’ll be given an errand to collect 30 Dark Marbles by defeating the monsters inside. Be careful to stock your potions up before you start collecting the 30 Dark Marbles. Once you’ve collected 30 Dark Marbles, talk to the instructor, and he’ll award you with a Proof of a Hero. Go back to Ellinia’s Magic Library, and talk to Grendel the Really Old once again, where then you’ll advance as the Fire/Poison Wizard.

Fire/Poison Wizard is a special class that has a whole new different training style to level up. Instead of relying on 1vs1 (killing monsters 1 by 1), they are able to use Poison skills. Poison damages monster over time, so they just need to spend the time to poison all the monsters in the map, and kill them at a later time. Each monster you hit with Poison, you are creating a virtual character killing them slowly for you! However, poison does not kill the monster but leave them at 1 HP.

Below is the hierarchy order of Pirate advancement: [Magician Main Page]

Reason for this Build
This build sacrifice Slow to add both primary attacking skills (Fire Arrow + Poison Brace). Slow is not important for players if they do not like slowing down monsters into snail’s pace. For those who want Slow, you could sacrifice Meditation (replace it with drinking temporary Magic Attack Potion) or sacrifice MP Eater (least important).

Summary
Fire Arrow [0/30] / Teleport 20 [MAX] / Poison Brace 30 [MAX]
Meditation 20 [MAX] / MP Eater 20 [MAX] / Slow 20 [MAX]
Reason for this Build
This poison build will help you gain faster leveling speed compare to the ordinary common Fizard Build. Around level 53 and above, you will be training on higher level monsters with massive HP (life/hitpoints) where poison can take advantage of dealing K damage. Teleport is absolutely wonderful for mages. It is useful for getting around and avoiding getting hit while it increases training speed. Slow is useful on ordinary and boss monsters. It gives you ample time to make an escape without bumping into monster who is crawling towards you at snail’s pace. MP Eater is added later to save meso and Meditation to boost Magic Attack damage! Meditation is added last because you can buy temporary magic attack potion from NPC shop!

maplestory-mp-eaterMP Eater (more info)
Drain enemy’s MP after every magic attack unless enemy MP reaches 0 Mp. Works passively (automatic). Most people recommend to max this skill as it saves you a lot of Mp potions (saves meso) during 2nd and 4th job training. If you see Blue Stars encircling your character, it shows that Mp Eater is activated. Cleric love this skill because undead monsters has the highest Mp compare to other monsters. Mp Eater works on single and multiple-monsters. However, the total Mp drained for a single vs multiple is equivalent.

Use the arrow keys to teleport to other places in the same map on a set distance. Useful to move around within large maps quickly, assist in training (reach to the monster quicker), escape from monster attacks (teleport away). Teleport is able to move you left, right, up and down. maplestory-slowSlow
Temporarily slows down 6 opponents around you. Can’t use it on them twice at once. Works on boss monsters (e.g. Crimson Balrog, Anego, Werewolf). This skill could be dropped (Not a must to max this). This works handy when you solo boss monster alone, if your knockback does not work, it gives you sufficient time to teleport away while your enemy crawls towards you (slow effect). Slow can be cast while you are on rope/ladder too. Very useful to avoid bumping into monsters as the monster are crawling at snail’s pace. Could save lots of HP Potions.
